Firecracker 5k Run: Our 5K Run is held on the Fourth of July. It precedes and announces the Marple-Newtown Independence Day Parade on West Chester Pike. Pictures with Santa: On the week before Christmas, children of Broomall line up to have their pictures taken on Santa’s lap. The event is held at the Marple Public Library where Rotarians are assisted by Interact students dressed as Santa’s elves. Every parent receives a picture of their child at no cost or request for donation.

Christmas Sharing: By working confidentially with school officials, we learn of families who have financial difficulties and would welcome gifts for their children. The parents advise of toy, game and clothing wishes as well as sizes and colors. Every club member is assigned a family and buys and delivers gifts before Christmas.
